We have been in the same location for over 25 years. Our office staff has not changed for over fifteen years; except for Annie, who joined us in 2011 when Carole, our previous office manager, retired after nineteen years.
Barry D Laurent, DDS 
Barry D. Laurent, DDS, graduated with Highest Distinction from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia in 1978. In 1982, he graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University's Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, in Richmond, having earned the A.D. Williams award for academic excellence. Following a year of practice with his father in Arlington, he opened his own office as a family and cosmetic dentist in Vienna, near Washington, DC, in the Northern Virginia city of Tyson's Corner. Dr. Laurent is an active member of the American Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. To ensure his dental patients the most up to date care, he regularly attends continuing education courses. He serves on the board of directors and volunteers at the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic, a United Way accredited non-profit facility in Farifax County (which he helped to establish) which serves the dental needs of the indigent. The Northern Virginia Dental Clinic has proved so successful that a second facility was recently opened in Loudoun County. Staffed by both paid and volunteer dentists, the NVDC has become a model for other non profit dental clinics. Dr. Laurent has provided oral cancer exams during health fairs given at the State Department Training Center and at the National Reconnaissance Office Headquarters. He has also participated at health fairs for employees of Arlington County and the Evironmental Protection Agency. He loves carpentry; and has designed and built a variety of projects. He has taught Sunday School, coached his children's ( now in college ) sports teams, umpired Little League, and was a leader in both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.
Annie Chung, Office Manager
Annie received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. After working as a commercial architect she decided to change careers and entered the healthcare field. Annie is the newest member of the "family," as she replaced Carole, our former office manager of 19 1/2 years. Annie is friendly and here to address any patient concerns, whether it be financial or dental care. She enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family and friends. Annie is a lifelong athlete and enjoys basketball, football, snowboarding and tennis.
Linda Costello, Dental Hygienist
Linda has been working with Dr. Laurent for over 17 years. She received her Hygienist Degree from Loyola University in New Orleans. Linda loves her work and interacting with all of the patients. During her time off, Linda enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and family.
Azeb Habte, Certified Dental Assistant
Azebe has been with the office for 12 years. She received her Dental Assisting Certificate from Howard University. Azeb is very active in her church community. She enjoys reading and spending time with her son, who everyone in the office has seen grow from a little boy into a wonderful young man!
Nadia Tartar, Certified Dental Assistant
Nadia has been working with Dr. Laurent for 12 years. She is highly experienced and has been in the field of dentistry for over 20 years. Nadia thoroughly enjoys interacting with the patients and providing excellent care.
